Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Technician to support our R&D efforts. This role is essential to advancing the development of our muscle-regenerating technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on laboratory experience and a strong interest in regenerative medicine and biomaterials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory experiments, including cell culture, biomaterial preparation, histological analysis, and protein and gene expression analysis.

  • Maintain lab equipment, order supplies, and ensure adherence to laboratory protocols.

  • Perform data collection, organization, and analysis using statistical tools and software.

  • Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external use.

  • Help develop and optimize experimental procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 1+ year of hands-on laboratory experience (can include academic lab experience).

  • Familiarity with standard lab techniques, such as pipetting, microscopy, and spectrophotometry, SDS-PAGE, rtPCR, and immunohistochemistry.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

  • Previous work with tissue engineering and biomaterial handling is a bonus.

Compensation:

  • Range: $35,000 - $45,000 per year, commensurate with experience

  • We do not currently offer benefits, but we plan to as we close our Seed stage financing in early 2025

  • Stock options
